My relationship to social media is…complicated. Or maybe it’s not. Maybe it’s just a combination of expectations of people that are too high and letting myself get drawn in to drama. Whatever it is the cycles of hating social media, then being drawn back in seem endless.
I was in the out cycle (social media is evil! it’s terrible for my (anyone’s) mental health. Now I’m in the in cycle (ok there has to be something of value there). It seems to go along with the blogging itch.
And there is good stuff to be had, good people to talk to. It’s a matter of staying away from the stuff, and people, that drives me nuts. There’s a lot of that there but I’m back on again, after a cleanse, hoping for the best. There has to be a happy medium to be found. So here we go again.
